The Gala 2018: it’s over already!

Report on the third iteration of the event at the Salle Wagram.

The certificate awards ceremony was attended by 550 people

The evening began, as it does every year, with the traditional awards ceremony led for the first time by Drissa Meite, a student at the Ascencia Business School alternating with the Digital College. Every class of every school: Digital College, Ecole Conte, Financia Business School and the Higher Institute of the Environment made their way onto the stage.

Ecole Conte also honoured its representatives with the first iteration of the ‘Collège de Paris awards’, in which the trainers with the best student assessments were rewarded. Corinne Mayou, lecturer at Ascencia Marne-la-Vallée, was awarded the teaching transmission prize; Rabah Lahlou, lecturer at the Ascencia sites of Paris la Défense and Evry, was awarded the prize for course media and methodology; Cécile Balme, lecturer at Ecole Conte, won the prize for leadership quality; Agathe Mongénie, lecturer at Ascencia Evry, won the prize for interpersonal exchange; and finally Emmanuel Santosh, lecturer at Ascencia Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Paris-la-Défense and Digital College, was the winner of the grand prize for the best overall grades across all the criteria.

And 1000 students attended the Gala evening!

The evening featured a DJ, a popcorn bar, a social Wall and a photo booth, but perhaps the most exciting event was a showcase from the artist Dorely and a team of outstanding dancers – our students enjoyed an incredible evening…it was clear to us that some really know how to get into the groove!

A few brave souls even stayed up till 5 in the morning to make the most of the evening!

We would like once again to extend our thanks to our partners: Forest Hill, the Banque Populaire, Heetch and Petit Bouchon who contributed so much to what was a successful evening.

Every year our staff work hard to put on this amazing evening for the enjoyment of our students and staff, so thanks to all of them! Further details of the next event, to be held in December 2019, will be provided.
