Exhibition by former student Catherine Landry.

The talent of one of our former Textile and Fashion Design Bachelor students Catherine Landry – who graduated in 2017 – is getting attention. She is presently exhibiting her work at the dessert bar of L’Empreinte, 11 rue Damiette in Rouen, until December 2nd. Her work has also been featured in the book ‘From thread to needle, embroidery in contemporary art’ by Charlotte Vannier, published by Pyramid Editions.

Her creations are inspired by art, craftsmanship, traditions, modernity, recycling, culture and landscape, and invites viewers to dream and travel. The creations are made through visual experimentation and research, graphics, photographs and textiles: a dialogue between techniques and materials to build bridges between art and design.

Her style and technique have won her plenty of acclaim, and everyone at Ecole Conte wishes her lots of success in the future!
